On Saturday 17th March I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Chelsea & Scott.

A wonderful day with a really lovely couple.  One of the colder weddings I’ve photographed with a biting wind that ensured most of the day was spent indoors.  But it did nothing to spoil such a lovely occasion as Chelsea and Scott tied the knot at St John’s church in March.   And the church made the perfect setting for not only the service but for the family photos and couple pictures too.  Chelsea was a great sport though and braved the cold to get a few shots outdoors.  Paul (my second photographer) did his best to wrap Chelsea in a big warm coat between shots while I tried to work my camera whilst being unable to feel my fingers!!

Funnily enough, it was strange to see a few flakes of snow on the wedding day as we’d had plenty of the white stuff for the pre-wedding shoot a few weeks before.  And in the days in between it had been t-shirt weather!  You can’t beat the UK for an unpredictable climate!

After the service it was off to Christchurch for the reception and plenty of freshly cooked pizzas to warm everyone up.  The community centre looked great, Chelsea and her friends and family had done an amazing job of transforming the place ready for the big day.

Chelsea & Scott’s big day was an honour to be a part of.  Wishing the newlyweds all the very best for the future.  I hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from the day…..
