On Friday 1st September I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Cherry-Jae & Adrian at The Bull Hotel in Peterborough.

There’s something special about shooting a wedding at the Bull Hotel.  There’s no grounds at the venue so as a photographer I have to think a little outside the box in terms of how I go about getting some special shots of the bride and groom.  On this occasion the newlyweds made it easy.  I suggested going for a “walk-about” in the city centre and they were all for it!  With the bridesmaids coming along too we had fun in the city centre and I captured some of my favourite shots of the year.

The day itself was great fun with a lovely couple and a great bunch of family and friends.  Cherry-Jae looked amazing in a dress designed by local designer Sue from Susan Nicholas Bridal.  Other local suppliers came together too to make sure the day was an real success.  Corinne from Corinne Turner Floristry produced some amazing floral bouquets, Hannah Spendelow Make-Up did a great job with the girls make-up and Cherry-Jae’s mum, Carole is a fantastic cake-maker – Once Upon A Cake.

After the wedding breakfast I took the couple off to the local park for some pictures and then it was back to the hotel for the first dance.  It had been a lovely day and an honour to be a part of.  Wishing Cherry-Jae and Adrian all the best for the future as husband and wife.  I hope these pictures help tell the story of an amazing day….
