On Sunday 28th May I had the pleasure of shooting the wedding of Natalie & John at The Bell Inn in Stilton.
This was another lovely occasion with a great couple and a their equally great friends and family. For me the day started at Natalie’s parent’s home in Peterborough where I met an excited bride getting ready with bridesmaids, family, cats and guinea-pigs. My assistant Liz captured some getting ready shots of John and the boys before they headed off to St Mary’s church in Warmington for the service.
The day before the wedding I’d taken a drive from Warmington to Stilton in search of the perfect spot for a stop off for pictures. A wonderful lop-sided tree gave me an idea for a couple of pictures and I was grateful to Melvin (from Classic Wedding Cars) for getting “Daisy May” into place for me. The spot was perfect as it provided a great view of the local scenery.
The Bell is a great venue for a wedding and the weather was beautiful for mingling in the courtyard with a few drinks. It was really relaxed and there was plenty of time to fit in some family photos before the wedding breakfast and speeches. The couple had been great all day and along with their family and friends made us feel welcome and very much a part of the day. Wishing Natalie and John all the very best for the future as husband and wife. I hope this small selection of pictures will go some way to telling the story of an amazing day……..
