On Saturday 16th November I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Jen & Andrew at Hotel Felix in Cambridge.
I first met Jen & Andrew when they moved into their home, just two doors from me! Although I’ve since moved, I’ve stayed in touch with them and was thrilled to bits when they asked me to photograph their big day.
Hotel Felix is a lovely venue for a wedding. It was perfect for Jen & Andrew as it is very dog-friendly and allowed them to have a very special guest – Marci, their beloved King Charles Spaniel.
The service was a a lovely intimate celebration in front of their closest friends and family. Lots of emotion and a few tears – mostly Andrew’s! Afterwards the couple and Marci joined me for some photos and then it was back indoors to be enjoy the day with their guests.
It was a treat to watch magician Dean Maudsley wow the guests with his sleight of hand magic. No matter how often I watch Dean do his stuff I’m blown away, left scratching my head and wondering how he does it. I could tell Jen & Andrew loved it too and watching their expressions as they watched the magic unfold was priceless.
Jen & Andrew’s big day was a fantastic, relaxed occasion with a lovely couple and a great bunch of family and friends. Wishing them and Marci all the very best for the future. I hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from a fantastic wedding day….
