On Thursday August 22nd I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Katie & Josh at Woodhall Manor.
I’d never photographed a wedding at Woodhall Manor so I was excited to go there for the first time. Katie & Josh are a really lovely couple and they are clearly mad about each other. So I knew photographing their big day would be pretty straight forward – I didn’t need to tell them to show any affection towards each other for the couple pictures, it came very naturally to them!
Josh got the best wedding gift ever. A collectors edition Millennium Falcon lego set. I didn’t know about this until Lou (my second) told me later on in the day. It’s just as well as if I’d known sooner I’d have missed the ceremony while I built it.
Talking of ceremonies, it was a beautiful outdoor service in the gardens at Woodhall Manor. While the service took place the resident doves came and went, apparently used to all the fuss going on below them.
Katie & Josh’s big day was a lovely occasion at a fantastic venue, with perfect weather, a great couple and a fun bunch of family and friends, you couldn’t ask for any more. Wishing the newly weds all the very best for the future as husband and wife. I hope this selection of pictures helps tell the story of a wonderful day….
