On Wednesday 14th July I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Sarah & Marti at Longstowe Hall near Cambridge.
I was delighted when Sarah & Marti chose me to photograph their big day, especially as I’d photographed the wedding of some their friends (Sam & Neil & Kylie & Adam). On the day of the wedding I got to catch up with several familiar faces who I have have to come to call friends.
But of course before the big day there was the pre-wedding shoot to do. And when I mentioned how I’d love to do one abroad, Sarah said how much she would love to do the shoot in Paris. So we did! That was back in 2019, I thought I’d include one of the shots from that shoot here.
The wedding itself should have been the following year, but Covid had other ideas. Fourteen months later than planned the big day came round, and it was an absolute blast. Sarah & Marti had thought of everything for the day and it was great to see everything come together so brilliantly. With perfect weather it was a fantastic occasion, with the ceremony taking place outdoors in the pavilion and the rest of the day spent outside enjoying the grounds, piggy back racing, bouquet tossing and ice-cream! I really enjoyed Marti’s speech which included a brilliant song he’d written for Sarah to celebrate their wedding day.
Sarah and Marti are a great couple and their little boy (little Marti) is mega cute. He was a baby when I last saw him in Paris and it was lovely to see him again on mum and dad’s big day. Wishing them all the very best for the future. I hope you enjoy this small selection of pictures from a wonderful day.
