On Saturday April 20th I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Adam & Eve at the Peterborough Marriott.
When I’m thinking about my couples, and whenever I’m saving images to my computer I have a simple system – bride’s name first, followed by the groom. If I do it the same way every time it makes it a bit easier to find images amongst the millions I’ve taken. So in my head this lovely couple have always been Eve & Adam. It took me approximately 350 years to work out that if you swap the names around you get…..

But then I thought, maybe they don’t like to be known as Adam & Eve, after all there’s a more well known couple with the same names. Turns out the whole wedding had an Adam & Eve theme – with the fig leaves on the stationary and a naked (mostly) Adam & Eve on top of the cake. So it turns out everyone was in on it; except me!
So anyway, Adam & Eve got married. It was an amazing day with a really great couple and a lovely group of friends and family. The service took place at St Wendreda’s church in March and then it was off to the Marriott Hotel in Peterborough for the rest of the day. It was a beautiful, sunny day and it was lovely to see everyone outside enjoying all the garden games Adam & Eve had organised. Eve is a big Manchester United fan so her wedding gift to her new husband was (obviously) a Manchester United shirt. Adam has no interest in football whatsoever so I’m not sure it’ll ever get worn. But it’s the thought that counts! You can always clean the car with it Adam (joke Eve!!).
It was an honour to be a part of Adam & Eve’s big day, wishing them all the very best for the future as husband and wife. I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story….
