On 9th September 2021 I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Vicki & Ciaran at South Farm.
I was really looking forward Vicki & Ciaran’s big day. They met at Glastonbury and they had told me they were having a festival themed wedding. That sounded exciting to me! But when they told me they were going to have some smoke bombs on the day I nearly exploded – this was going to be epic (as my teenage niece likes to say)!
I also got to see Vicki & Ciaran’s little dog again – Sam the terrier (I’d first met him at the pre-wedding shoot). He’s such a lovely dog and I know Vicki & Ciaran adore him. I also figured that he would be the oldest guest at the wedding (in dog years he’s an old chap) and he’d also have the honour of being ring bearer for the wedding.
Photographing the smoke bombs was a real treat. The bridesmaids and groomsmen got involved too and they were great sports as they let the “bombs” off and ran around helping to ensure the smoke went where we wanted. It was great fun!
Vicki & Ciaran are a fantastic couple and it was a really pleasure to photograph their big day. Wishing them and little Sam all the very best for the future. I hope you enjoyed this small selection of images from a brilliant day…
